St. John

I'm sorry it has taken me sooo long to get the pictures from our trip on here!! we went the second week of May to St. John in the US Virgin Islands (a US territory).

The snorkeling was AWESOME!! We saw puffer fish, a barracuda, starfish, sea urchins (ouch!), lots of parrot fish, sting-rays, beautiful corral, and billions of fish that I do not know the names of. =)

This is a picture of Corral Bay, the "big town" on the island.

We went hiking and saw lots of ruins from the sugar cane plantations that used to cover the island.

We saw many interesting native animals, including iguanas, wild donkeys, mongooses and bats.

This donkey did not look too firce, so I went over and petted him.

This is a termite nest. They are EVERYWHERE on the island! They Build their nests on their "host tree" and make their big house in it's branches. The amazing thing is the termited do not hurt the tree! they just eat the dead wood around the base of the tree.

Me at Cinnimon Bay

Hahahaha....Trent and I dug a huge whole and buried ben (standing up) in the sand. He could not move, so we could (Odviously) Do whatever we wanted to do to him.

Trent got in a fight with a shark....I wonder who won?? =)
