Christmas morning
Merry Christmas!!!
I do not think I will ever forget this Christmas. Right now it is 8:40 Christmas morning and I am the only one out of bed. It all started when Ben and I got sick the day before Christmas Eve. We were pretty much better by yesterday, but last night, Mom and Trent got it and were up all night. Who knows, maybe this will be the most memorable Christmas. We will not get to go to Birmingham today, or see our other Grandparents this morning. I am not complaining, I just feel really sorry for Trent and Mom and Dad (who is probably getting it too). I did read the Christmas story out of the Bible this morning, so no matter what else happens today, I do feel in the real Christmas spirit. =)

Christmas
Christmas is only 10 days away. Every year around Thanksgiving I start thinking, It would probably be a good idea to start looking for Christmas gifts... and here it is, 10 days till Christmas, and I do not have anything on my "to get" list marked off. Oh well, I always have them all wrapped and under the tree on Christmas morning (even if I am hitch-hiking home on Christmas eve and am up till 3am.. wrapping).
I also do not know why, but every year, my little brothers get up at 6:30 a.m. and jump on my bed until I wake up (which hurts because my oldest little brother weighs as much as I do!). They usually have me drug out of bed by 7 (crawling and bleeding).
Speaking of traditions....EVERY YEAR Dad climbs up on the roof over our rooms at about 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve and stomps and shakes a jingle bell wreath to make us think he is Santa. Every year I forget, and he scares me to half to death!!! Usually, after I recover, I am thinking, Goodness! We all know there is no such thing as Santa...you can get off the roof now! It is funny, though, because we usually have a hard time getting Ben to bed. Just as he starts to drift off to sleep, good ole Dad starts stomping on the roof. It would not be Christmas with out the frightening stomping, though.
Well, I will stop talking because I'm sure all of you people have better things to do. I hope you all have better luck shopping than I! =)

Christmas
What Christmas means to me... He meaning Jesus....
C - Christ died for us
H - He is Humble
R - He Rose from the dead
I - He Insures us
S - He is our Savor
T - He is Trustworthy
M - He is Merciful
A - He is Amazing
S - He Surrounds us
See what you can make out of Christmas... =)
This was written by my friend April...I thought it was so neat!

Thanksgiving again
Jake, Mary Beth, and I
My mom's side of the family
Thanksgiving with Family...
It is tradition that every year we go to my Aunt Beth's home on Thanksgiving day. Everyone on my mother's side of the family is there. I get to see people I only see once a year. This year, my Aunt Tammy, Uncle Rob and 3 boy cousins got to come! This is the first year they have been back in the States for a while!

Christmas Tree
Yeah, It's that time of year again...
Basketball season starts, People finally start looking at the Christmas Ilse in Hobby Lobby that have been stocked since July, I am forced to pull out my winter clothes, and really annoying Christmas songs get stuck in my head. This past weekend I put up our Christmas tree with my little bro, Ben. It is a tradition that I put up the tree. (my dad came up with that of course) I don't mind too much, though. I am one of the only ones in my family that can reach to put the limbs on anyways. =)
